I've only got a bike license. When I drive cars I have problems with remembering to account for what the part not in front of me is doing kerbing

As for negotiating an online forum, it's fairly simple. I click the little mousey thing around until a thread opens, then I try and offend people until they cry and the thread goes to PD where I can no longer find it, then my clicky search begins all over again.
Obviously a well developed skill =D

The best "cliff" joke ever was the Young Ones, final episoide, going over the edge of one with a huge poster of Cliff Richard in their path and them all yelling "cliff" as they see the poster and go over the edge.

Smart car foot-shuffling is usually only because you've put something like a Busa engine in it and it has no reverse...

No, you've got a class 6 driver license. If you don't believe me, have a look at it and read what's written on it.

Gahhhh, don't start me off again with my hobby horse about "drivers licence" (full 6 vs 'car' etc.) I still reckon prospective employers must stipulate which class of full licence they want applicants to hold to save any confusion.

Son recently applied for an apprenticeship and was told he was successful but requires a manual drivers licence of at least R so guess who takes him out every day in her car so he can now resit his R but in my manual?

Btw, has anyone redone their car R in a manual after initially passing it in an auto? Do they take previous months on your R into account - surely they don't make you start the whole wait to sit your F all over again...?

I have heard alot of people say that riding a motorcycle has made them a much better driver. Will be interesting to find out if the reverse is true as well.
