We spoke about this on Saturday Billy, but condolensces from ours to yours for your loss. Ride on Paul... there shouldn't be any highsides up there on those perfect tracks.

Paul's passing was a real shock to us Billy. We really enjoyed his company and competitive spirit during the Nationals. It is hard to imagine the loss you and your family must be feeling. It is also very hard to know what to say that might offer some comfort to you. I can however, on behalf of Sarah and myself, just say that you can be proud of the man that Paul had a chance to be, thanks to you. He was well respected as a person and a motorcycle racer by us both. As we did during the last meeting, we will be placing the #2 on our racebikes this season in Paul's honour.
Don't hesitate to contact us if we can assist you in any way. We will attend the service on thursday. Take care Billy.

We lost touch over the years but we had some good times together back in our school days. What a sad loss to the racing community all our thoughts are with you Billy and your family.

My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Thank you all for your comments and condolences,

It sure was humbling to see and be involved with,His send off was amazing and had everything from motorcycles to drift cars in action and following the hearse.A number of current and past NZ champions were there along with the MNZ president,Roadrace commission chairman and other board members and commissioners,A special mention for Shaun Harris as he insisted his IOM bronze replica went with Paul,Paul was a huge fan of yours and would have been over the moon,Thanks mate!!
