Who is entering the Taupo Supermoto 2 hour?
Anyone have a video or picture of the circuit?
I'm looking for someone to ride with if anyone is keen. Was going to ride with Vtec but he can't make it. Preferably a good dirt rider in Auckland if possible! I'm planning to hit woodhill to get used to the road tyres in the dirt before next weekend so looking at getting something organised before then.

If I get the bike ready in time I will enter 2011 Yamaha YZ450F havent even rode it yet, I going to tonight tho then Nationals next week but am keen on this Motard buisiness to keep me road racing

The dirt section isnt anything to worry about, got ruts in it so just put the bike in them and rail it around, and its hard-pack so you'd get traction, just hold it in gear till the tyre bites in.
Gearing for the track, id make sure its geared for the road section! Last time I was running 15-40 I think...something like that anyways.
Was going to run the event, but havent got my shit together, so will probably just run the winter series mx the next day in Taupo.

What bike do you have and when is the meeting? I could be keen they have been trying to get me there the last couple of yearsI have good back ground in dirt and have limited road race experience even done some dirt tracking on my road race bike, which is laods of fun

The meeting is 30th this month. At this stage I'm preferably looking for someone in Auckland if possible to go down with to split costs etc; should have mentioned that earlier, sorry. Its a KTM 525. What kind of top speed does this circuit have? Good for 190kph right now!

Are you guys going to be running a grooved road tyre on the back for dirt traction or full blown motard race tyres? What's the best way to go about putting more grooves in your tyres?
