Hi there. How did you get on with the sprockets? I have come up with the same problem, no dealer can find a direct listing, nor can I. So I've had to remove both sprockets so they can be measured etc. Rear sprocket has Sunstar logo with 44. Even the sunstar website doesn't list a sprocket for the Scorpio or SX4. No doubt one of the dealer will be able to source one for me once measured, but it's a pain no one has a listing and a bigger pain not having a ridable bike ...
Get on the internet and chase up an Australian Yamaha dealer.
I had the same problem with my NZ new Honda CBF250. Local agents quoted $180 from Japan and 3 weeks wait. I got one from a Sidney Honda dealer landed at my door inside 5 days. $90.38c NZ including frieght and exchange rate. No after market supplier imported any sprocket under 40t. Mine was a 37t rear.
If I buy another chain driven bike, I'm going to demand they produce a new sprocket set before I sign the dotted line. The Scorpio is like my CBF. a simple commuter bike that shouldn't be a hassle to buy the basic consummables
