    Wow, snow in Ommers

    First time we have had snow fall here in 8 years,got a late night arrivel in the form of Shrek (big form)who ive just waved off,turned on the radio to hear the road to Dunedin is closed so he may well be back.Snows coming down hard now as i type so will await the sun then head out and have a look around and grab a few pics,amazing to see it here it really is.Dogs not sure what to do with it so runs a bit stops and eats it

    Thanks for posting the pics Mike, Dan had rang and told us about the snow and you have provided the pics, brilliant stuff!

    Nothing but a very light dusting up here, temperature has risen, if anything, to -5C.

    Well wont bother coming up your way then mate,will head south and have a look.Shrek must have got through and home as he never turned up back here.

    Yea mate,was talking to mum an hour ago,she said its been like a blardy blizzard.Poor lady she got a taxi to the bus this morning but they cancelled the bus out to Rangiora so had to get another taxi home,shes to scared to drive her car out there to get to work.

    Pretty fucking glad I'll never see any in Auckland.
    Mostly because;
    A. We already have enough shit drivers during summer on dry roads
    B. That shit is fucking cold and melts, has a very low friction coefficient and my choke lever is broken. Was hard enough bump-starting the poor bitch this morning
