Thanks to all the officials who made it happen and all the riders and club members who raced.
Fantastic turnouts in all classes, especially Classics and Pre 72, biggest fields we have seen this year.

Hi All,
Next CAMS race meeting Sat 21st June at Levels.

Will include the CAMS Pre 72 cup feature race at the end of the day, open to all bikes prior to 1972.

Sign on for Racing 8.00am - 9.00am
Riders Briefing 9.15am
Racing from 9.30am
Entry $60
Day Licenses available $25
All welcome including new members and new riders.

All the usual classes:
Classic pre 63
Post Classic Pre 72,82,89
F4/F5 Buckets
Junior clubmans
Moderns (including super Motards)

We are trying a new combined class - Senior clubmans. To keep the number of classes down, number of races up and the racing close.

Food and drink available at the track
Catch up at the Checkered Flag Cafe for a beer afterwards.

We're a bit light on Flaggies for the 21st at the moment if anyone can help out?
We'll give you lunch, a fuel voucher and I'll buy you beer afterwards if you can help out.
New Flaggies welcome, we'll send you out with experienced guys and girls to learn the ropes.

Congratulations to Jim Koppier, CB750, winner of the CAMS Pre 72 cup last weekend.

Great day, perfect weather and a great mix of bikes.
I'll get some photos up once I find my camera, F'n kids!!



We nearly have all our sponsors sorted for the 3 day CAMS Southern Classic Festival December 5th -7th at Levels( weekend after the Burt) and planning is going nicely.
As soon as we have the final major sponsors sorted and a permit, probably in July, we'll get a thread started on here and get the posters, entry forms on the net and sent out.
Its going to be a great meeting celebrating CAMS 25th anniversary, classic and post classic bikes from all over NZ and hopefully classic sidecars - TBC.

It was our first trial of CAMS Senior which turned out very well.

(Just a reminder CAMS Senior is any Pre 89, 82,72,63 less than 50 HP and new riders with yellow vests. )

Two main things came up. People who have pre 63 bikes normally have more than one bike in that period, this, then gave them a chance to ride both bikes on the day. The grins were great.

The other was that a few people brought friends along and because the class was there they let them have a go at racing/participating.

Quite good to see fully kitted riders jumping up and down waiting for their bikes to get back in so that can have a turn.

BROOKLANDS CHALLENGE
The Brooklands Challenge is on again at the Classic Car meeting Levels Saturday 6th of September.
Open to Pre 63, pre 72 and pre 82 only.
Come on down and help CAMS regain the Brooklands Trophy back from the Classic Car Club.
