    Ken "Wobbler" Wootton, RIP

Long time editor of Aussie Motorcycle News has been found dead in his hotel room while in Czech Republic. Great guy and a huge loss to the Aussie motorcycling community.

OMG! That's tremendously sad, I really enjoyed his time as editor at AMCN. RIP Mr Wooton.

I had the privilege of hanging out with Ken on a number of gigs.
He was a truly funny and generous man.
    Vale.

    Unhappy

Spent any number of weekends with Wooser at Phillip Island, sharing the stage at presentations for events, swapping dodgy gifts, trash talking via e-mail on an off in the interim in the last few years. He even went out of his way to write me up in Feb in the mag he was editing, for making 10 trips to Phillip island from NZ to race and would send me pdf's of articles he thought I'd appreciate.

As he described himself - the second most hated man in motorcycling in Aussie. He wasn't scared of getting up people if required and was so well connected and such a bloody good guy when you needed help. It's been great to say I've known him and could call him a mate. Though the IT sec guys at work won't miss his e-mails and dodgy attachments....(well dodgy!!)

RIP Wooser, the Elitist Tosser (as NSW PCRA guys crowned him a few years ago!). Will very much miss him not being there in 2012. Bugger of loss to motorcycling.

What a bugger! I'll miss the Woose, especially his commentary at the GP and WSBK. Unlike some commentators, he actually knew what he was talking about and asked the right questions. Always knew the pit gossip too. As a racer, he wasn't shy about staggering around the Island on a Postie like an old woman on a zimmer frame either, on the brightest coloured bike he could find. To his credit, he owned an RC30 that he had raced successfully when his ballsack was still high and tight.
I'd really appreciate it if all you good bastards would stop dying. It's really starting to piss me off. RIP Woose. Loved your work, will miss your smile.

It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

RIP in Ken. An Aussie character.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "
