Triumph Performance Parts Australia- Hinkley Twins Bonnevilles and Thruxtons

I was looking to replace the worn out shocks on the Thruxton I just bought. After reading all the various reviews from all over the planet I decided to go with the IKON shocks. I emailed Gary at Triumph Performance Parts and found him to be very helpful. The IKONs arrived in a matter of days. I gave them a good 300 km workout on my favourite twisty Waikato back roads and they are brilliant.Bike felt very stable under all conditions. If you have a Hinckley twin I don't think you could fault a pair of these.

I was a bit put off by the NZ pricing exchange rate but Gary assured me it was all done at current rates, which it was.

I bought a set of IKON shocks for that CB400F I had. Really good. at the price. I believe they are made in Mexico or somewhere using machinery bought from KONI (ikon ....koni) but that could be interweb rumour.

I'd probably have sold you the Ohlins off my Scrambler if I'd known you were looking.

I imagine the store is a fine store - thought it was strange the same issue happens multiple times......

It pays to check the prices elsewhere.

I bought the FCR 39mm flatslide kit direct from TPUSA recently, and with shipping and duty included, I still came in at $140 less than the price quoted by TP Australia.

    Not saying he's a rip-off or nuffink..............
