Of course it's not going to answer questions - its a season finale and they want you to tune in next season - "cliffhanger ending".

I've seen worse - that wedding they had on the crappy soap "Dysentry" - sorry, "Die Nasty" - when they had people machine-gun everyone down and the next season (according to mates that watched it) people you saw take definite hits survived unscathed and people who dived behind cover and should've been OK got killed.

I liked Ernst getting blown up - it had a kind of "Pulp Fiction" feel to it. Liked the way Hurley looks at the bits of debris all over him and says "Dude" in that tone of voice that says "you should'n't've done that, now I have bits of you all over my shirt"

The others are obviously close - that boat they had is only short range.

There are things that were done badly - I would have already sent a party around the island - not just landed on part of a large island and assumed it was uninhabited.

That said, I enjoy it - escapism, willing suspension of disbelief etc, if I can enjoy a show in which everyone, irrespective of educational level, can sing beautifully and make up songs on the spot (and have others instinctively know the lyrics to sing along), I can enjoy "Lost"...

I don't watch a lot of TV, but this was one of the only TV progs that's caught my attention lately. Not that it was particularly good mind. But I was so pissed off with the series finale last night. What the fk do they think they're up to telling people they'll have to wait until next year to see what happens next.

I've been following the series "Lost" on TV, and last night was the season final thingy, 2 hours and as far asI am concered it was a very dissapointing ending

I suspect that Lost will follow the Twin Peaks / X-Files route of never quite revealling what is going on, well not at least until the Network drops it and they suddenly write a conclusion.

well... yeah... I did . They said they would so they should have... I wasn't aware there was a second series... I was building myself up to some ending along the lines of... aliens... or drugs... or reality TV sumfin or other...

From what i think about the story... and NO, its not a spoiler - just what i think, is that the island is some kinda govt operated place...hence that wierd french lady saying about the security monster....

they put in a LOT of Ad's... everytime they played some suspense music and you thought the good part was just about to happen... it changed to ad's... which totally kills the moment...

I was looking at a "spoiler" site earlier... but couldn't bring myself to read most of it... kind of don't want to know... otherwise then how else will I full my Wednesday evenings next year? lol
