..if a ''cager'' does the slighest of things 'considered wrong' they get hammered...but if its another bike?....all is well. Not so, remember how DB got slapped on here because he does the same thing?...and does not care?
What I notice about some threads is, that some who post, just pick up on the 'tone' of said thread and go with that...
Nothing intelligent is added...
IE: ''Many would have forgotten the event by the time they got home. If indeed it even counts as an event... sorry, what were we talking about?''
It's dangerous for him and its dangerous for other road users. He is just too stupid to imagine how it is dangerous for him because he is probably caught up in the brighter is better BS. He doesn't realise that the other road users have to actually see him, and not just the bright glow of his light, to avoid him. The full beam light will make the other road user misjudge the distance to him, often making him appear further away than he is.
If someone fucks me off with erratic driving and/or stupid irritating shit like braking on straight roads and sitting at 40 I'll quite happily throw on my high beams for them. This guy may have been oblivious that he had high beams on at all?
I can assure you Mom that it wasn't me unless your eyes are particularly good then a 6 volt yellow soft glow could possibly cause a few problems.

Y'all are assuming this turkey knew firstly that he was on main beam and also that he knew how to dip his light ...
That's a couple of BIG assumptions to make of yer typical 1%er ...

what's a MUT?
No idea. Thread hijack alert though:
while we're on the topic of wtf does "such-and-such" mean, has anyone else heard of "See you next tuesday" being used as a euphemism for "the C word" (another euphemism, as I generally don't say that word)?
I said to a student this afternoon, "see you next Tuesday" and my boss nearly wet himself. Sez him, "did you just say 'see you next Tuesday'?" Me: "uh, yeah, why?" Him: "don't you know what that means?" Me: "er, are you serious? doesn't it mean see you next Tuesday?" Him: "nah, when you want to call someone a C%nt you just say 'C U next Tuesday'"
What the hell? Anyone else heard of this?
