Moto Academy NZ - Tri Series, NZSBK 2012

    Hi all.
Moto Academy NZ is looking for one or two 'young' riders to compete on our Honda RS125 GP bikes this summer.

We offer a complete race team infrastructure with parts, logistical, mechanical and training support.

Riders need only turn up, help out a bit and ride the bike to the best of their abilities. We believe that this is the best plan for a young rider looking to progress rather than to bang their heads on a wall trying to sort out a bike or have to organise everything.

"Do you want to race, or do you want to mess around with motorbikes?"

We think that riders (well, North Island riders at least) should start their season around early October at California Superbike School, Vic Club, International Tri-Series, Pacific Club/AMCC then NZSBK.

Our two bikes are both well specified (43+ hp) and capable of winning the NZ 125GP championship with the right rider on board.

For costs and season planning please contact me.

I think this is an awesome opportunity, good on you for doing the work to keep this going.
Perhaps you could post in the bucket thread, maybe some of the kids/parents would see this there. There is some good talent at kaitoke lately.
I can add this to the bucket racing web site as well.

I do wonder where all the kbers are that post about the lack of young rider opportunities.

Yeah it certainly a great opportunity for someone.

If I wasn't so tall, old, or banned from racing anything faster than a bucket I would have swamped you with emails by now.

Maybe Rogan, Cameron or Caleb from buckets could be interested.

    Good luck.

All the fast kids are motocrossing Steve. Go and scalp some from there. They are fast, fearless, and already 10 year veterans with the maturity that goes with that experience. Best of all, alot of the parents are well healed. You should see the money parked in the pits.

I think the costs are realistic, but that is me.
I am sure that the punters will disagree.
I would prefer to leave the numbers to confidential negotiations.
    Cheers

Costs are completely reasonable. Racing isn't cheap at the end of the day.

Billy Frank 888 In MX IMHO would be the perfect scalp here !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
