Ahhh! - didn't make the cut - overe - exposed and out of focus - the price you pay for all the effort.
Done what I can with it.

In a magazine we'd do something arty with it:

Great day, especially once the roads dried out a bit.
Good to meet some new people.

Thanks Bugjuice for organising the day.

Woohoo!!! Great to be back on the big rides. Loved this one. Fun twisty bits and heaps of cool bikers to hang out with. Glad I wasn't the only cruiser there this time too. Had a few spots that worried me a bit but never came close enough to a wreck to tighten the sphincter (sp) Crazy fun and great scenery. Left of from the group after fish&chips and took the 25 to the 2 then that all the way to Tauranga. Was a gorge about half way here that was fun to go through aswell. Sheer rock wall on the left and slow moving river to the right lots of fun turns. Back and shoulders are sore from the backpack and my neck hurts from fighting the wind on my helmet.

Stupid open face. Tis what I get for leaving my full in front of the heater to long.

Thanks to Bugjuice for the boots and hot choclate. Was a bit cold when I got up to Auckland. Mamma Crashe made me put on another pair of jeans and put a plastic bag under my jacket in the front. Worked a charm cause it kept me warm all the way here. Also thanks to SlashWylde for lunch, definatly a better f&c shop than the one in Hamilton lol.

Will post my pictures next week when I am back home since I am on my moms pc at the moment.

Thanks Big Dave. This one is me.

I’m so pissed off… me clutch bugger off just 200m to the BP, so I’ve missed the ride. Anyway was a great view seeing you guys going! Thanks to the friendly faces that gave me advice. Nice meeting ya Drunken Monkey and hope you found a battery!

Heh, I figured as much, but thanks for the efforts. I've never managed to take decent photos... my hat is off to you guys who manage to get a few good ones out of a days shooting.

Thanks for another awesome ride guys! Thanks to Bugjuice for organising it and a big thanks to Big Dave for the photo! First time I've been photographed actually riding!

Hope I didn't slow anyone down on the way from Hunua to Clevedon!! That is a very cool piece of road! First time I've ridden through there!

front wheel isn't cut off and much cleaner than the original - the photo not the rider.

Haha yea thanks for that. Took a bit of the back side of the front tyre and added it to the front of it. Then just doubled a bit of the bush and leaves to extend the rest of the photo. Look much better. Got me a new Profile picture. Just wish the bike itself wasn't so mangled.

    Nice ride today guys.....

Aff-man , Danb and I stayed back with unhingedlizard to help him load his broken down bike onto his ute -hope you get it sorted soon mate-

Then saw Phoenix and Kittyhawk cruise by

A few minutes later they probably must have recognised us as they turned back and came to join us.

Once UHL had his bike all tied down and was off - Aff-man, DanB, KittyHawk, Phoenix and I took off for a bit of a blat down Scenic Drive/Road....... enjoyed it so much we turned around and went straight back...... then turned back and returned doing three laps of some marvelous twisties..... I love those 25 corners......

I think we were all a bit high or something - cos there were a few - umm.. more than a few...Ghost Rider'ish moments in traffic - hehehe the best of which were 4 bikes drag racing in a single lane at a few traffic lights .........bloody 600's kicked my .....and some enthusiastic lane splitting - all under full control mind you.

Then we all proceeded to McDonalds for a bit of a debrief and some burgers in Botany Shopping Center...... after which we went to kittyhawks place to check out 2 bikes she has hidden in her garage......Hey Kitty some lovely projects there-

Then returned home by 6:30 - great day atleast 600kms for me this weekend
