It's funny when you sit in the middle between creationist and evolution and tell everyone they are completely independent of each other. You get called nuts.

Many people have not actually read Darwin's texts either - Darwin clearly states that evolution does not go back to the dawn of time, just he summarized the last 5-10,000 years. The rest he honestly said "I do no know". He completely avoided the historical age of a crocodile or frog - on purpose. His study was how animals had changed from a core set of creatures.
Poor guys must be turning in his grave after what people did by misinterpreting his writings.
