Visa and MasterCard then pressured PayPal to cease providing payment services to MEGA.

Eventually PayPal made a non-negotiable decision to immediately terminate services to MEGA. PayPal has apologised for this situation and confirmed that MEGA management are upstanding and acting in good faith. PayPal acknowledged that the business is legitimate, but advised that a key concern was that MEGA has a unique model with its end-to-end encryption which leads to “unknowability of what is on the platform”.
MEGA has demonstrated that it is as compliant with its legal obligations as USA cloud storage services operated by Google, Microsoft, Apple, Dropbox, Box, Spideroak etc, but PayPal has advised that MEGA's "unique encryption model" presents an insurmountable difficulty.

Some had high hopes that the space program would replace war for the consumption side of the equation but it appears the flaw in that is it doesn't kill enough people!
So it looks as though we are doomed to carry on with this dumb and dumber - wars booms bust - production consumption and population control cycle forever!
Oh well - at least we know where they are going with this shit!
The only thing left for humanity is to try and grab a little life as they take you on this wonderful experience of a "lifetime"?

Whether or not you believe the general bullshit about the wars (including the fuck up that was Gallipoli caused by the british ruling elite at the expense of New Zealand and Australian lives - as you can see I don't buy into the bullshit) - I do respect the men who volunteered (remember there was no conscription for Māori - they were ALL volunteers) and gave their lives ..

Conscription was not introduced until 1916.
Conscription for Maori was introduced in 1917.
