Having just paid 200 dollars for a consultation
    And first rate treatment
That's one tax/wage I'm happy to stump up for
Imagine how much cheaper it would be without

    Capitalism

Which is nothing like what the taxpayer pays for a RD's training per year, is it? Why even bother mentioning it?

And in fact state subsidized training of doctors isn't really anything like capitalism, is it? It's decidedly socialist, innit?

And I don't have to imagine what health care would be like without capitalism, I just have to look at communists efforts in national health care. It's third rate, at best.

heh... if you know, please share.

I realise that a doctor is required and wants to be trained. I believe that there should be no thing to prevent that person from training to be a doctor (short of competency etc...). This can be achieved without it costing anyone anything... but meh, You're still hung up on how much it costs to train a doctor.

The cost of training over a typical doctor's career is approximately NZ$1 million, about 80% of that cost is born by the taxpayer.

And what you believe is wrong.

Lots of unused doctors in the beehive
And under current system ...your beloved capitalism
Their funding is being stretched cause we can't afford it .....
There might actually be a better way .... One that contributes to the production and supply to the community
Or one that puts social supply and production ...,

Yeah? What percentage of medical doctors are currently no working in their chosen field?

It's not my system. And if it's so capitalistically inclined then why is the state paying to train doctors?

And if funding is being stretched then how come the health budget has grown every year for the last decade?

And yes, even though NZ has one of the best health systems in the world there probably is a better way. But it's not a way you can claim to know anything about, let alone enunciate clearly.

Which is pretty simple, is there a veritable host of unemployed medical doctors or isn't there?

Which is also simple, you claim we can't afford... something, presumably doctors, that being the topic of conversation.

Which is completely at odds with not only the increase in the number of doctors in the workforce but the size of the budget that pays for them.

So not only can we afford more health care but we actually are affording it.

And since you're not one to back up your extraordinarily illiterate claims with anything resembling actual facts it sorta looks like you're the one failing to understand. Dunnit?
