Dicamba isn't an alternative to glyphosate. You add it to glyphosate to broaden the spectrum of weeds it controls. Like clovers frinstance.

It's also not under any Monsanto patents so there's plenty of generic alternatives.

Think that about covers it.

If what Unison say is correct and non solar users are subsidising the solar users then yes the extra charges are fair.

Yeh, but it's just approximated. Using more power at peak times is what all users do, it's what makes it 'peak' time. Seems poorly handled, either go to multi rate monitoring and billing, or charge for infrastructure and power used, in amounts reflecting the cost to the provider. Which, this later could just be what they are doing, and it's just another media beatup to captive the outrage of stupid worlders...
