IT analyst and programmer by trade,
Nice to see Tradies having a go :msn-wink:

Where is Porriua, is it near Hamilton?
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

I mean, the place is wall to wall loony tunes conspiracy theorists desperate to blame EVERYTHING on rich pricks who somehow get more richer in spite of every possible objection they can muster, rational or otherwise. Actually, they're all otherwise.

You'd be a fucking sight better off asking the rich pricks. They'll only tell you shit you don't want to hear, but you'd still be a fucking sight better off.
    Oh you're classic

I'm not asking for share market advice
    I got me bases covered

And those bases don't have a whole lot to do with the stock market or indeed currency

I'm just sitting back watching sheep

Eyes wide shut me thinks they are

And I'm not asking you why you were.

Not, I hasten to add that your usual drivel doesn't indicate that you could do with every skerrick of advice you could possibly lay your hands on.

Cool, do you care to share? I make a habit of copying the methods of successful people, so I'm all ears. Or is it a big secret?

Yes you are right , but I would prefer the advice that I can " bank" on
Of which I doubt you have

    City Rail Link funding breakthrough

"Where: From Britomart to Mt Eden
    Length: 3.4km
Cost: Final cost unknown but anywhere between $2b and $3b
Funding: 50:50 Government and Auckland Council
Timeframe: Work started in June 2016. Due for completion in 2023"

Whew... tax payers only paying for half... unless you're in Auckland and happen to be a tax payer and a rate payer as you're on the hook for all of it.

Unlikely, at most it would be 75% user funded, , as most people that are tax payers are also paying for it, ie the other 3 million people of NZ, they (unlike Auckland rate payers) are unlikely to benefit from it either, as they don't live anywhere near Auckland.
I would have thought you would favour 100% USER pays.
