Pollution comes from production. Production equals growth. We need more growth. We vote for parties who promote growth. We want those we vote in to tackle pollution... just not at the expense of production. Bwaaaaaaaaaa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaa. Morons.

    Wow, that's all so right!

Except the pollution bit, pollution actually comes from waste.

And the bit where production actually equals survival.

And the only people that need growth are lazy cunts, in the productivity department.

But you go right ahead and vote for your stardust mate, she'll cut the fuck out of all that nasty production AND give all those lazy cunts a raise.

Are you saying that going to Uni, "working" in the UK for labour, heading up a Youth Group and being on the tax funded opposition benches for 10 years is not

sufficient work experience to be the PM

Like being on holidays for 20 years.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Depends what u define as pollution. As we become more efficient we use more of the thing we are trying to conserve ,. Ex gas shortages in America led to more efficient cars gas prices dropped ...we drive SUVs now... As societies transition form a low input high return to a high input low return , efficiencies increase and waste decreases, to the point of reduced or zero returns and the society collapses. Ur taxes are a case in point , they will just get more and more in order to main the status quo, ( energy use in a complex system)......

Wrong. Pollution comes from people. We need less people. Who is doing anything, or even talking about that as being a problem? So until then we keep creating more pollution, extinguishing species etc and taking the odd sidestep to convince ourselves we are doing the right thing and making a difference, sadly we continue on the same speedy growth curve. The only non controversial thing you can do is not have kids...

you been reading the Georgia Guide stones again?

If you gave all the people in the world an Hong Kong sized apartment , you could get the enitre world in to the state of Texas , There is plenty of room

Pollution comes from people , yes , but due to the structure that the people are " forced" to live in and the effects of that condition. The debate of late has been about the state of the rivers in NZ , well just up the road from me is a large river ( nagatoro) and that water is perfectly drinkable ,( I know Ive drunk enough of it , "wibble" )

it is entirely possible to live in a tree hugging environmentally sustainable way WITH a CR500, ( dont get me started on that global warmin bollox ) just that the fkrs that run this show are satanic nutjobs ,who quite frankly dont give a rats arse about u me or anyone

get rid of them and start looking after ur community and all will be sweet ..

You might be right Stephen but that only applies to today. In another 20 yrs? 50? Bearing in mind that the largely populated countries are often the poorest with a high population growth? What about them? So in spite of any aid they are given, who is doing anything about the ongoing root problem? Or even talking about it? *tumbleweeds*

Thomas Malthus ( if I've got the spelling right) said exactly what Ur saying and it resulted in the poor laws
Same satanic fkrs behind it then , Thomas galton when on to look at frenology ( the study of the bumps in Ur head ) which led to eugenics which the chicken farmer of the Thule society ( himler ) used to great effect.

Thing is the population ( now I'm doing this from memory half way through the first cup of coffee of the day)...the population is declining in many western countries due to low sperm count ( plastic and other toxins ) and the total faggotry of the current crop of boys , u should see the gay faggots over here checkin their hair in the mirror ,

The earth can support a shitload more people , but a shit load of angry people are difficult to control , so ya get them fighting and fkin monkeys)

There may well be a time in the future when there is too many people , but it's a way in the future and there won't be any 2 stroke motorcycle anywhere , only photos in a dusty encyclopedia...

Don't worry, mandatory vaccination should do the trick . It's not a population problem. It's a what and why we produce problem... hence the need for persistent growth to be able to fund an economy that produces whatever anyone wants regardless of its cost in terms of pollution. After all, the pollution has a $ component built into it. You know, a pay to pollute policy that the general public picks that tab up on because they're they end user. That's a pretty fucked up approach to anything... let alone on a finite planet. So yeah, til the reasons to produce are gone, we will pollute and will accept this pollution because it makes someone money. Enjoy your growth

heh... I reckon he should change his name to Puddle, coz he simply doesn't have that sort of depth of perception. It's like asking political candidates to explain their employment policy in light of the oncoming onslaught that is technological unemployment. Similarly their response to pollution and need for economic growth and resultant need for production resources. The answer is pretty easy, but no one wants to hear it coz they believe that they'll somehow lose something in the shuffle. It's highly entertaining, if not somewhat concerning

See drivel for the answer? Well I'm in the right place.

And try producing nothing to see how long you survive... Oh wait, you're right, sitting at home on teh dole is absolutely a superb alternative to work.
