Wow, so he's still a child, but in a man's body. That's petty and sad.

Aye, persons and money = stupidity... they even built an entire, highly expensive to run, set of systems around perpetuating that stupidity. The irony that someone is at fault in a system that welcomes/encourages such stupidity should not go unnoticed... coz it happens this way by design

Another from the "Sunny uplands of Brexit" department. Honda UK car plant to close with the loss of over 3,000 jobs. It would seem tptb are keeping this one fairly quiet.

This action was telegraphed earlier (back in 2019, mentioning July 2021 as planned exit date):

Now that Brexit is in effect - and global shipping (containers of product parts) is experiencing logjams at various places around the world, then it can be no surprise that Honda has decided to proceed with their original plan and "pull the plug" on the Swindon plant.

An old engineering friend was discussing the proposed $3.5 trillion infrastructure plan proposed for the US, and some of the underlying "engineering initiatives". Happened to include one of the latest Australien Government video clips:

Mike Hosking just announced that tomorrow is the anniversary of 9/11. I think not. It was 9/11 US time. It was 12/9 NZ time.

Xmas is celebrated here on December 25, it’s also celebrated in America on December 25......

Splitting hairs really just because Hosking is a more right leaning entertainment host. Don’t really like the guy though there’s much better stuff you could have argued.

New York is only 16 hours behind us, technically if you account the time they would’ve have gotten out of bed and dressed forvride to airport that could be counted as the start time. The planes hit at 8am so they would have been up at sparrow fart to get to airport for flight, amazingly none of them were late.

I remember fellowctrucker calling me up and telling mevtune wireless in radio... LIVE eyewitness reports were coming in of the attack including the shoot down of flight 93.... i was at Karapiro so would have been 1.30 to 2am nz time based on schedule at time.

Hosking used to talk about how his programme was the place to hear positive news. That was when National was the government though. Now he's an unremitting purveyor of misery and gloom.
