Nice attempt at the Bait and switch.

I'm generally for Free Trade - but not Free Movement.

One is goods and services, the other is people.

And unless you are going to advance a return to considering some people as a Good or Service (Aka Slavery) then you'll not be conflating the two.

Selling drugs, organising dog fights, get a grant from WINZ to buy clothes for a job interview then sell the clothes and buy dope, you name it, but it probably won't be legal. To be able to survive long term on the benefit you need to be able to hustle. The prime life skill is knowledge of every benefit assistance that's available. WINZ (or whatever it's called now) don't offer that information, you have to ask. If you don't ask, they don't offer, and you don't know to ask so... Knowledge of the system is paramount and all long termers have that in fine detail.

As for the dog fight thing, I did see one WINZ client wearing a Michael Vick football jersey. Michael Vick was a talented NFL quarter back, his career was interrupted by a conviction for dog fighting and a subsequent stretch in prison . At that time bull terriers or other big dogs were going missing hereabout.

Firstly - fuck I hate Dog Fighting. Makes my Blood Boil.

You certainly raise some valid issues - like many things in life, you only get it, if you know what to ask for - and the average front-line worker at WINZ may not even know all the possibilities.

Lebanon left without power as grid shuts down... Surrounded by nations who make their $ from fuel. Yes, as a way of looking after people in general, Capitalism is that stupid.

I stopped checking Nova's credentials when I got to her partnership with Shell.

Ironically she claims that the science demonstrating climate change is being published purely for profit.

She doesn't stack up well in a quick fact check, either.

You’d think embassies would have sensitive equipment to monitor such possible attacks....

Meanwhile it’s still just a wild conspiracy that 5/6G towers could be used for same style attacks....

Of course the neighbours are uncharitable. You don't fill up your neighbours tank for free if it costs you something for your family do ya?... unless you have a fucktonne of money and see that it helps the neighbour out.

Sanctions are meant to bring about financial hardship. In other words, Capitalism is used to empoverish and murder large numbers of people who have nothing to do with anything other than they live in a country that the world has chosen to send to coventry. Scumbag move. Bit like me holding your family to ransom until you've filled my tank.

irony, hypocrisy, satire, I dunno, but that little statement overloaded my brain cell something fierce given the role that capitalism plays in how resources are meant to be distributed, but aren't.

Yes but its all part of the same planet, which will live or die as one. Do you imagine the top half will boil off while we will be fine down in the cooler bottom half? Looking forward to the northern hemisphere population moving onto your patch?

A Lot of people here have ridiculed the ideological link between Marx and Fascism - this is an excellent and concise explanation of the link between the two.

And before anyone asks "Yeah, well why did the Red shirts and the Brown shirts fight each other?"

I will answer "The same reason why the Catholics and Protestants fight each other. Or the same reason the Jews and the Muslims fight each other. Because they all believe in the same God"
