Nevertheless ... they are still theories.

No doubt even you have had theories ... that you found later to not be correct.

Flaco is a Eurasian eagle owl who escaped into Central Park, NY, when vandals damaged his home in the zoo. The photo doesn't show it but these things can grow to have a wingspan of 5 or 6 feet. There were concerns for Flaco because of his long term in captivity, it was thought he would be unable to feed himself. Food left for him went uneaten.

Flaco is smarter than they gave him credit for, here he dines out on a rat.

From the Article:

She claims her father raised her as Jewish.

She has made no claim per the article about her Grandfather.

I mean, I'll grant it's unlikely that a Nazi would allow their son to raise their grandchild as Jewish... The article says 'Nazi' - but the actual detail is that her Grandad was in the Wehrmarcht as a Teenager.

Plenty of German soldiers and officers who served weren't Nazis. A few of them quite famously so.

So, on the two fundamental claims, we've got two pretty blatant bait-and-switches.

The Wehrmacht (German 'defence force') were the unified armed forces of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945 ... and did the bidding of the Nazi hierarchy.

The German Armed forces were all referred to as Nazis by Allied forces. More a propaganda issue than actual fact.

There were plenty that were not "Hard Core" Nazi's ... but there were plenty that were.

The Senior Nazi's gave the orders ... not following orders was a serious matter.

Being shot by your own side was never popular. But it happened. Often.

Allowing the raising of a Grandchild as Jewish as such after the war ... is really not that unrealistic.

If her grandfather was a marxist, you'd have no trouble believing she was raised as a marxist.

True - I mean, if they had said he was a Member of the SS, then I'd be far more inclined to believe that, hell - even if they mentioned he was in the Hitler Youth would make it more plausible.

For an Average german, even a veteren - absolutely agree.
For a devout Nazi (which is essentially what they are claiming) - absolutely disagree.
