There is a case but no one has the balls.
    Who? Facebook?

I don't think it's lack of balls so much as the same old issue with large economies screwing small ones. Simply: access to their market is a bigger deal for us than ours is to them. Tax law that benefits high earners in large countries at the expense of the likes of NZ is very much against that "most un-American in favouring the big guy over the little" ethos mentioned in the Forbes item.

There's a few rules here in NZ I think could be changed to benefit the economy too.

It is lack of Balls that why we get screwed.
Facebook is not a big earner for NZ. Taxing them on advertising revenue earned in NZ is only fair.

    Look at Googles tax paid.

I didn't say it was. It is a high earner from a large country, though.

And dodgy as fuck. Sounds like the OECD is on their generic case.

Farmer visited by Obama is now the face of California’s drought

“I feel like I am doing my part to get people to understand what this crisis is doing here, how this affects everyone,” he said. “We feed you. … If we don’t survive, where will the food come from?”
