    One of those days...

Ive been crook all week. Just want to ride for a bit. Went and had a nice brunch with my GF. Then had to pop out to sort a warranty on a month old pair of boots. They had started cracking on the tops. No big deal I thought, they will just swap them out. But no, they have to go back to the supplier. FFS they are only a month old. But no its there policy.

So got home. Had a headache so had a little sleep. Doc wanted me in hospital earlier in the week but talked her out of it. Got to be easy on myself.

Got up and got my gear on. Warmed bike up. Went to lock door. As I locked the door the heavens opened. Storm coming through.

    I give up today.

    Rant over.

As someone wise once said to me, sometimes you eat the bear, and well sometimes the bear he eats you.

Yeah I'd have loved to give the heavenly hills of the Waitakeres a crack, but little did I know the Waitakeres would crack the heavens on me.
Saves me gas and get an excuse to not see the parents today, I guess
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

You either have to admit defeat and go back to bed, or just suck it up and ride anyway.

Just sorted riding to meet the missus for a weekend away after work on friday, then looked at the weather forecast, I'm guessing I'm going to arrive wet.......
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987
