Even here, the younger set, i.e. teenagers, have been growing up without any respect for adults, authority or human life. This is world-wide so watch for developments elswhere.

My wife works in Early Childhood Education and we are appalled at the sheer lack of parental nouse, an dparents who haven't a clue what to do with their kids! Indulgence is their way of life and discipline is a dirty word.

The problem is summed up in this situation. A young driver wrote of his WRX being stupid and irresponsible, a car bought for him by his parents. After the courts had slapped him on the wrist with a wet bus ticket, his parents just bought him another one!

When you see the way parents ignore, neglect and abuse their children and set the worst kind of example for them, what do you expect?

Mind you, the youth do know what is right and wrong, they just don't care.

The BBC said the other day that about 100 of those arrested were 21 or younger with a special highlight on the fact that an 11 year old had been taken into custody.

well, living in London at the moment and the riots are starting to get a little bit close, i have just got a job that starts next week in Croyden and was looking at Clapham Junction for flats, these are areas where fires and looting were last night,

Is not EVERYONE collectively to blame for blindly living for so long beyond their means and voting for the easy option?
