Do the calipers or mounts need a small skim on a mill or something to fit? Or adapter plates? Or just space the bolts out a bit?

I think the bolts go in to the caliper, so the mounts need to be skimmed and adapter plates, the ZZR bolt spacing is miles larger than the ZXR

just bolt on a peice of wood with an old gumboot attached to it, when you need to stop, push the gumboot down and hold up for dare life

Now that's a better idea than pulling wheelies!

Can you do stoppies? they always appeared more impressive to me. I have no idea how they keep the back weight of the bike in line with the braking force.

I've never really tried, I do think I'll keep away from the wheelie/stoppie idea for a while though

Looking at these pics, I can't see anything wrong with it. Just another modified ZZR400
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Only ZZR400 parts on it are the air box, loom, cdi and left hand switch block 600 frame, swing arm, motor and ZXR front

Loom in and more or less wired up, have a heap of wires I am going to trim down.
Radiator cap/thermostat relocated so it doesn't hit the forks/handle bar.
    Carbs/airbox in.
Subframe seems strong enough to sit on at the moment Obviously. Click image for larger version.

Going to figure out where to throw the rear brake reservoir, might shorten the line so the reservoir sits on top of the master cyl.
Need shorter cables and ZXR brake lines.
Need to make a battery tray and finish the subframe.
The panel/paint crap will probably be last on the list, not keen to be trial fitting shiny new parts and risk scratching them.
