Got the tail unit sitting nicer, so it's all in position for the subframe to be made obviously there's a lot of bog going on too. Click image for larger version.

Pretty pic of the wheel in the sun. That Shitco has to come off and the Pilot Power needs to go on. No hurry there though lol Click image for larger version.

Hopefully by mid next year, but I'm in no hurry. It has to be done perfect.

Was having a cup of tea and sucking hard on a fag when I stumbled across a few ideas.

Will drill/tap the original fairing mounts (I knew I left them there for a reason!) and thread the indicators in there Click image for larger version.

    Also, fuck the headlight shroud.
I'm going to stack the lights as they were in the shroud and have nothing else around them.
SIMPLE IS BEST!!!!!! I want it clean, very very clean.

Anyone know of where I can get 55 and 60w versions of these? 50mm diameter single filament, sealed beam. Click image for larger version.

mean bro mean, keep it as clean and simple as possible it will be tight!

I ditched the front guard on my cbr600 fighter and the wof ppl didnt like it.. something about water and mud and shit flicking up into your face..

not sure bout the lights, I used some wierd rectangle ones from hella.. getting low beam/high beam was a bit of a mission for me - but i still believe electricity is witchcraft so meh

I have enough electrickery knowledge to do all this simple stuff

New headlight position, mount would ideally be made from steel or alloy rodClick image for larger version.

You can see where I'd like to have the indicators, that might be a wee bit illegal though

I thought I'd add up what it's cost so far.
Bear in mind this is on the tightest budget, ever due to my now loss of job.

ZZR600, frame, wheels, motor etc. $200.
ZZR600 carbs, rubbers and a few cables, $200.
    Tail unit, $50.
Pilot Powers off a race bike $50
    ZXR400H USD forks, $300
    Tail light $20
    Indicators $25
    30cm LED strip, $1.51
    That's $846.51 in my maths?

    Not bad at all.
Hours of work? I don't care, but over 30 hours in polishing
I have to say, I wouldn't be this far in to the build without the help of Bogan. He is owed a shitload of beer when I have an income that's more than $160/wk....Rep him.
Same goes for CBFB, he's loaned me a few tools and offered the use of his Mig welder more than once.

Fuck being bored on a Friday night!

Big step forward today! I tore the whole bike apart, put it in the Corolla and took it to Bogan, who promptly made a subframe and I got to meet his hot flatmate.

pity you didnt do wheelies as perfectly, you wouldnt be in this pickle!!

Looking fucking good man, its coming along, good to see it together to get an idea of what she will look like. Have you given any thought to, or have any plans on the paint scheme yet?

as for the headlights, can you just have one for low and one for high beam? for what its worth, I reckon it looks a tad ugly with one above the other, side by side would look nice though, but You're the one that has to like it I guess

I've only cocked up one out of hundred of wheelies

Thanks bro, paint? Hmm burgundy maybe, or that Teal green that Speed Trips came out in.

I like 'em there, side by side is more common than a foreskin, looks nice side by side though. I just would rather not have everyone else's custom look lol
