Went to fire her up today for teh lulz, not playing ball.
A mixture of issues methinks.
It's not really lifting fuel through the carbs and the intake rubbers were loose![]()
I think the fuel is properly stale now anyway.
So, just having lunch and will peel the carbs out, raise the fuel level, clean them and set the pilot screws to 2-3/4 out.
Need to put washers under the needles, easy.
Need to go buy more jets, will wait 'till it's running, but from what researching tells me a set of Dynojet 136/Keihin 148 jets will do the job, or Mikuni 127.5 (which I have only one...)
For those who didn't know, a few models of Keihin and Mikuni jets are interchangeable, but the numbering is on the piss, here's a link.

More issues!
I NEED a 41mm socket...
Managed to get the LHS fork cap off, then failed at bleeding the fork with the new fluid
My giant stupid spanner slipped on the RHS and I've done my hand a big mischiefand I cannot for the life of me make it budge
I thought it could be the top triple crimping the fork tube, but, no.
So after three hours I have one rock solid fork with no preload or damping adjustment and one almost dry fork that I can't open.
Oh well, off to find a big socket!
I won't be put off that easily. It's a shame I now have no $$$ after buying the brake rebuild kits because there's a set of forks in Palmy for $300 ish![]()
Ah ok, just read this bit in the track. EKETAHUNA RURAL DELIVERIES C/- GASOLINE ALLEY,

I got a loaner bike that made me think of Geoff. Mine is in for a few little bits and they gave me a new GV250 to use. God its gutless but a hoot to ride.
