This baby is going to need a cert anyway

I have just purchased a single bar ender, prob won't work, but will look legal and it'll be handy for the WoF shit when I get a rear view cam on it.
Currently hunting for a flush mount screen for one
legally, you only need one mirror, so that should be sufficient,
if you are going to need a cert, make sure you have all your ducks lined up first, get ONE cert with everything on it. If you are doing that, then the cam mod shouldnt be a problem, as you can have that on your cert plate anyway.

One option is have the cam mounted etc, the chick a bar end on for the WOF. in all likely hood, if you got pulled up and questioned, I think most cops would take one look at the camera, and say well, fuck, you obviously have way more rearward vision than a standard mirror, and not worry about it.

one bonus is that some of the kits you can buy piecemeal have an output that you can hookup to record either to an sd card, or on a loop f say 5 min or whatever, so you can record what the rear can sees.

You can also hook up a front cam, and toggle between cams - easy to set up, might be fun for trackdays or making general vids etc.
another option (one i considered) wore a small button into the left hand switch gear, that is hooked up to the screen, the button can toggle between the screen displaying your GPS, and your rearward camera. not tough to set up at all.

Oh, the setup, cables, wiring, fuses, infra red night vision camera, and the screen can all be landed at you door for around (or less than) $70.

    fucking cheap.

    eBay has some brilliant prices

I need a money injection now anyway
I'm already doing future plans for it...
    Nissin brakes
    Turbo (obviously)
    New rad/oil cooler
    Colour change
    ZX12R rear shock
Throw that fucking gay twin piston rear brake away
    Custom loom
    1 piece tank/tail
    Full digital dash.

    I will never be finished
Also really wanting to slam a ZZR600E motor in a ZXR400L frame...

Forks out, seals and circlips ordered.

The LHS fork has indeed blown the circlip right out, the seal is all fucked up from trying to pass it, hooking up on it and pulling it out
The chrome wear on the RHS fork seems to be less worrying that I thought, if it leaks with the new seals I'll just cry a bit and ditch the ZXR front end methinks

Got a ZXR front guard off TardMe tonight too for a good price, tatty and cracked = needs modifying
Wheile the front was off I pulled the Shitko off the front rim and the Pilot Power is now all sexy and wrapped around it.
If anyone wants a free "good" Shinko, 120/60-17 take it.

No work got done on it today, I'm crook
Hopefully it'll be running happily by the end of the week!

Should have stayed inside today, but man-flu is my bitch, not otherwise.
    Rebuilt forks
    10W oil in them
Backed the rear shock off a little
Forks back in, speedo drive lubed.
Put the Pilot Power on the front.

Was talking to Drunkenmistake about putting a 48t sprocket on, standard is 45t.
Was looking through one of my parts boxes, found two 49t sprockets
So, it now has shorter gearing.

    Differences in gearing:
    Stock 15/45t Current 15/48T
    104km/h 97km/h
    154km/h 144km/h
    196km/h 184km/h
    237km/h 222km/h
    269km/h 252km/h
    302km/h 283km/h
All at 15,000rpm on the limiter.
    Stock RPM in 6th at 100km/h 4954rpm
    Now 5285prm

    Should be a noticeable difference.

1 tooth on the front = longer. One on the bum = shorter.

Got my fork seal circlips today, will chuck them in.
Will wait for the mud guard to come and the 10Kohm resistor that I have yet to order before I ride the beast again.

I thought that was general knowledge? I am, however, the exception

Haven't got me a 10k resistor in the bike yet, so 48t sprocket and 10krpm limiter = rev limit everywhere
Got the front guard today, threw that on. Looks okay-ish.

So if anyone heard something going brrrrrmbabababababapopbrrrbabababapopbrrbababababp op that was me.

EDIT: might be worth a mention, the bike handles like a fucking truck at the moment, incredibly heavy/slow to turn in, will have to fook with the settings and possibly drop the forks lower.

    Resistor installed.
    Forks dropped 13mm.

It turns in very nicely now, not VFR400 fast, but feels more positive than before.
    The forks work very nicely.
It now has the full 15,000rpm.
It goes far, far better than before and it has a big exhaust leak
    Sounds insane...

My leathers need some sex-wee removed from them

I'm going to a bit more.
Next steps - clean it, paint it again, make an undertail.
