Cheers! I should ride it more...
I'll be lending it, and the tail unit to match nicely It's pretty shitty at the moment, but I've left it unblended because there's some fluffing around with seat height to do

lol yeah the belly pan paint came out a rattle can
The whole thing will be vinyl wrapped, well, tank/tail/guard anyway...and knowing me it'll change every few weeks

    fuck you very much

Got the silly CF wrappy crap in the mail, did the guard, hated it, made a checkered cafe racer style line instead, hated it.
    It's gay, no pics.

Thought I'd go for a ride today.
The bike said otherwise, started leaking from the left oil cooler line.
And I've run out of 10x2 o-rings! Will have to wait 'till next week.
I'm sure I'll find something to fix on it apart from that...
    BUGGER WANK!

edit: they were new o-rings too, even got genuine Kawasaki ones just because I'd ordered a bunch of shit.
Oh well, perhaps the mating faces are on teh piss...

yeh you need genuine kwaka ones, cos they make their o-rings on the piss to suit the mating faces you just got to make sure to line up the holes

    This is probably very true
Turned the garage upside down, but no 10x2 orings cruising around, got a mate dropping some off tomorrow hopefully, so I'll be going for a ride

I found an o-ring kit hiding in a drawer (I do this sometimes) and I have some 10x2 o-rings.
But, the oem ones are fatter, closer to 3mm. Perhaps they squish out after 20 years... I don't know, Kawasaki list the replacement o-rings as 10x2, so I'll pop them in and if they leak throw some toys out side the general cot area

I got the leak sorted so I rode it (I do that on occasion, honest)
A total of 50km today...wow. That's all I could handle, I've made it far, far too uncomfortable
I'll give it some memory foam and soften the suspension when I've given it a new paint job, but it's fucking ridiculous how poorly it rides so much so, I was impressed.

I'm going to think about doing a bar conversion, get some flat MX bars on this bitch and a proper seat figured out

My main concern is, I think bar clamps and MX style bars look silly... But I'd rather trade in the sexy low bars for some that I can actually use.
It amazes me that I've turned a fat whale in to a horribly stiff (hehe) lightweight

Dirt bars look won't work too well with that tail I reckon. Maybe some heli bars?

I could put the standard GN ones on it
I'll have to google heli bars...

    Google edit:
Yes, brilliant idea, 50mm rise ought to sort the bastards, I'll have a play around.
I think I should sort the seat foam, then do the bars to match

clip ons but the bar goes up then out, be easy to just come up slightly above the top yoke, but still be slim and follow the same lines

Oh go on, it has near 5mm of seat foam
I'll go to the local upholstery place and see what they can get me.
I love the race-foam/minimalist look, but it's a tiny, little, iddy-bitty bit useless.
