Proof too! Decided during smoke/coffee in Palmy I'd snap a pic (that GSR-750 next to it was very, very tasty) Click image for larger version.

I figured 99% of the handling problem was me. Got used to the bike a bit more/in the groove and she's a peach in the corners, can turn in as fast as I want, is nice 'n' stable, just need to do something about the shit damping in the front (it's reasonable, but not excellent)
Gets out of corners very nice, quite torquey for a shitty little 600 and makes a grouse noise.

I was seriously considering selling it.
Now I want to ride it moar

If I do, I'll offer it to you.
But now I'm in love all over again... might be crap to ride in town, but it's a right giggle everywhere else

Ride down to Welly next weekend.

Bring your polish so you can shine my bucket and you can come and watch it get dirty on Sunday.

You can sleep in our garage with the bikes or if the misus doesnt work out your dodgy maybe you can be in the spare room.

I have a fist full of shiny coins and a bus ticket for you to get home if you decide not to keep your bike.

That's a kind offer mate, but I'll hold on to it a little longer. Still needs much more work before I'd be happy to sell it

Looks awesome in black, wouldn't pick it's off a Ginny. Like the shape, might whack on on my SR500 when I get it!
Although don't the GN250 headlights use a P15 bulb or something, instead of halogen or sealed beam?

There are several variants of GN lights, early Jap ones used a different bulb to the Chinese ones.
But I've been meaning to grab some H series bulbs and do a conversion sometime, so when I've done that I'll do a write up
A new Chinese unit is very, very cheap. Visit www.C2345.com and search GN250, have fun with the translated Chinese...but you'll find one
I agree that they look good. I'm glad I got this one. I imagine you could just slip any same diameter lens/sealed beam unit in the casing too.

If it's not one thing, it's another eh...
Small leak in the fuel tank
Explains why it smelled like petrol when parked up last night.

Empty tank, when totally dry pour in sealer, splash around, leave to dry and your problem is gone. But take off tap first, and replace with a bung for the splashing around action.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Holy shit is this like Chinese eBay? There goes my whole evening.

"Wangjiang Suzuki GN250 High Quality Camshaft - $18.06 USD ea."

Fuck me, I could just buy an entire GN250 in parts and put it together for a lark.
