Have been thinking about where/how to mount 'em also. I might mount mine on a bit of foam or something of the sort.

I will have a look about, I may have some grommets and suitable fasteners to allow you to rubber mount it elevated off the mounting surface, which would go a long way.

I was thinking I could use the rubber grommets in the top cross spar on the frame where the coils mount (seeing as I'm going to go coil over plug)
Or cable ties and expanding foam...

    Yeah, that'll pass.
Waiting for my headlight to turn up, all excited. Better get me a soldering iron and do some budget plastic welding and sort out the one or two wires that need prettying up.
Need a new elec clamp kit too, run out of spade connections and whatnot

Might sand the black paint off the frame, it just looks wrong.
Would like a shitheap little cheap dremel type thing so I can can clean up all the casting marks on the fork lowers/frame/rearsets/levers/sidestand etc all the details!

Black n Decker power file for the majority or large welds/marks, then a dremel/small files for the tricky areas, then sandpaper till you're happy.

So far it's all been done with paper and a pathetic little file (about 6mm wide...) so I suppose I have too much patience... Would be okay if Kawasaki weren't making parts with the ugliest casting in the world lol

Am moving all my stuff in to my parent's shed in Eketahuna and am moving up near Tauranga in the next month of two, will be able to get better pics when I've got the bike in Eke as I currently can't get the bike out the shed (someone left a Datsun 720 in front of the door on my side)

    Chur.

Sadly I'm not sure when I can get it up to where I'm moving, I'll be in Eketahuna with it for a few weeks then I'm off, like a boss. So, I'll do as much as I can to the beast
