    War of the Worlds

    !!!!OMG!!!!

This movie is definitely a must see.

I don't know if it was the alcohol, the late night screening or the vibration through the seats from the bass when there were big noises on the screen, but this movie had the whole place jump like we were in a Kriss Kross video clip!

All I can keep thinking since I left the theatre is, what an awesome movie. That and driving around expecting to see a large metallic foot crash down infront of me.

I think the all time best conversation from a movie (for me) was early-early on in the movie.

Robbie: Where did they come from?
    Ray: Far away from here.
    Robbie: What? Like Europe?
Ray: No Robbie. Not from Europe.

Seriously OH....MY....GOD..... what a wicked movie

    Oh yeah, on a side-note...

The King Kong trailer is on infront of this movie. Like OMG, as we were the first lot to see the trailer (outside of the WETA crew) we got our reactions filmed ... then Channel 1 did small interviews on what we thought of it .... so if ya see on Slippy on the 6 o'clock news ..... I'll be the one shying away

Anyway the movie .... looks fasinating .... Jack Black actually looks like he can act a part that isn't a drop out.

And obviously the graphics are mint. Kong is looking good in his old age

    Can't wait to see it

Probably. I bet it's not as good as the 1953 version.
    CGI replacing acting.

I don't know ... There can't be any movie as good as the one my mind creates when I listen to the double CD (note that this has been remastered & re-released too).

Might wait for it to come out on Sky.

You and a whole lot of other Wellingtonians Timber020 -

    I think I had about a cuticle's worth myself...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
