Vote David Bain for MNZ president
Loved it, true to the original series.
"Hmm, that'll never last. He's gay and she's an alien". Loved that line, wonder who he was referring to....? (Before everyone points it out for me, it had to be the David and Victortia)

she's SO TINY, but very nice and a lot of fun.
my memories are somewhat muddled from that night - but i think i had a great time.

Only 1 item to note:
It could be my fading memory, but I thought each new Dr Who series started with the 'death' of the previous doctor, who then fades away and is replaced with the new 'face'. Maybe we'll see Sylvester McCoy 'die' in a flashback. This excludes the recent feature film I gues, which was surprisingly not a total hack job as one would cringe and expect from a Hollywood studio.
it could be that this is an indication of what's going to happen.Originally Posted by Motu

Sylvester McCoy's transformation was into Paul McGann - for the Fox TV Movie. The current Doctor comes after the McGann Doctor. BBC's reason for not filming a transformation is they reckon it only works if the audience has had time to form an emotional attachment to the previous Doctor - which, with only one movie appearance, never had a chance to occur.Originally Posted by Drunken Monkey

it was cool, can't wait for the return of the daleks
A Dalek was the first alien I ever saw, they were truly terrifying ceatures,I'm sure I had nightmares over them.My kids laugh at them.....stupid boys, they'll learn I'm sure....
In and out of jobs, running free
Waging war with society
bugger I missed it. Used to watch the first series but the Daleks scared the shit out of me
Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill
I enjoyed it. I hardly remember anything about the other several series before it (Think the last episode I saw, I was about 5) but fortunately there was no references to the past you couldn't pick up on. Obviously made it to pull in newer viewers like me.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
