So when you use the tool to rate a thread (like this one) - do those ratings show up anywhere?
All I can vouch for is the first rate service I have received from Quasi, on the three times I have purchased from him. And the gloves are still going strong almost 4 yrs later. No complaints from me about Q's products or service.
If your looking at Bike Comms, have a read of this review..

Presumably this thread is now back on topic.

You see...this is a bit raw to be fair. You have put Quasi with all the doodgy sales people. The reason Bret is so defensive about his product is because he's so passionate about it!! HATE people saying anything bad about it...because it is without question some of the best quality motorcycle safty wear you can get period!!. Tell me Timmy tiger...name another manufacturer of motor bike gear that uses Knox armour?? [the best...go google it]...YKK zips...How many armys, other motorcycle saftey gear manufacturers use thier zips??? shitloads...also the best..the quality of the stitching on Brets stuff is better than my alpinestar race suit...[i have a scar on my forarm and shoulder from a track off where the stiching came apart...turn 2 manfield for the record...low side...you can estermate the speed]...and he has the racers and road riders to back up the crash ability of his gear...ask Kickingzebra...he crashed more times in the same Quasi suit on the track...so many times infact...I reckon he would have almost worn out the tarmac with his leathers...his leathers while being far from pristine...they never ever failed...and infact I don't think he ever need to have them repaired...I'm sure someone else might know if I'm wrong about last statement.
Another point I'ld like to make...Bret and Paula's bussiness sure as shit ain't making them rich...Bret has talked about throwing it in a number of times...why hasn't he?? I think its because he knows he has the best product in the market..and he just wants people to see that!!..is it?? I think so...from what I've heard and seen...his product is massively underpriced...and it reflects when you see people showing off their quasi products to people with brand names stuff...and the punch line is always how good value it is.
I have seen some of the 1tonne stuff...to be fair...it doesn't look bad..similar to the first stuff Bret sold about 6 or 7 years ago..I havn't see a racer wearing a set yet.
Now see, up until that last post I thought all the Qmoto gear was imported and Quasievil was just a salesman. I've looked at the website a few times as well. I don't do leathers but I have yet to find a decent pair of gloves in NZ. In the past I have just waited until I go back to the UK where there is a bigger range to choose from. Not been back for a while which is why I have some shit summer gloves, but when the weather clears I may be up for a pair of Handroids.
But now I have looked at the 1tonne website. Decisions decisions.

A racer got a 3rd place in the street meeting of the Burt Munroe event last year dude wearing 1Tonne gear, and that racer will go one better this year wearing the same gear.
Re your comments on Quasi quality, YES there gear is good, so is 1 Tonne!
It is the customers choice to make.
Hey Quasi, remember a little bit of advice you gave me a few months back on here dude, I have learned!!!! Your turn now mate![]()
