Elbow, Shoulder should be certified, we dont risk it and specify KNOX as its the best.

Trademe sellers have been B.S ing about the foam pad being a back Protector for ages and its a load of crap, hence I sell proper KNOX back Protectors.

Tiger Tim if you dont like the attitude you imply I dont give a poo buddy, facts are Facts mate.

Any Velcro product will eventually fail, usually if we are notified we fix it, never a problem
How do you tell if its fake? Should they have codes our something on them? Couldnt find the back ones on your site. Im buying a summer jacket that has the pocket but no protector.

IMO - People buy from people. The price is a factor however if you get bad service, the price is often a lot higher than you actually paid and possibly more than the competitive product.

I guess it all depends upon what you are buying and the location of the supplier. If you need something to fit you properly, then online buying is not the way to go

these two qmoto items are less than a year old.

The jacket with the 3 tabs is about 8 months old, used about twice a week

the pants are about 11 months old, worn most days, but have never used sliders/done trackdays etc, so the velcro coming apart is not due to hard use.

My point is that Not even qausi's products are perfect. I have personally purchased qausi products, and am quite happy with them overall, I have also recommended his gear to others who have purchased from him solely on my recommendation (one of those people has posted in here already) but frankly, seeing this kind of 'Im the only person in the whole world who can make good gear at a good price and everyone elses gear is just fucking cheap shit' attitude puts me off wanting to continue purchasing from you.

If you have a good product, it will sell itself, its not your job to go running around telling people what they should, or should not spend their money on, people will do their own research, and purchase according to their needs and budget.

That aside, the only reason I can think of for your displaying constant animosity towards other sellers is that they are taking a chunk of the market, and its hurting you in terms of sales lost to other sellers.

To the person that started the thread i will say this. IGNORE EVERYTHING that qausi, or 1 tonne, or any other seller tells you, they will only tell you that their product is the best. ask people who have actually purchased the products you are interested in, and who have used them and can give an informed opinion. Do your OWN research, and make sure youtry the item on before buying, or at least have an assurance of money back if the item does notfit/you dont like it etc.

I have purchased both of their products recently, and I have already given my personal opinion on both.

I frankly dont give a fuck about your opinion either qausi, because you are a businessman, youre making a product to make a living, that alone makes your opinion worth fuckall, because your interest is in selling products and making money, people dont buy your product because of what you tell them, they buy it on their own terms, and based on their own opinions.

So, you come in, piss on a competitors product, then when shown your OWN product failing and falling apart within a few months, your response is ''well yeah, that just happens",(I point out again that the knee slider patches HAVE NEVER BEEN USED) seems like something of a double standard. Id have sent the item back for a repair, but i dont want to be without a jacket for a week or more while its sent back and forth getting fixed, ill just get it done locally at some point.

You make a product, some poeple buy it, some people go elsewhere, why cant you simply accept that as a 'fact' - seeing as you like to make such a point of 'facts'?.

Your gear is NOT the only decent gear available at a decent price, and coming out in the open and pissing on other products all the time makes you look unprofessional, and shows only that your business is threatened by the existence of competing products that people might (and do) choose over yours.

As i mentioned earlier, I have in the past actively promoted your product not because it was the 'best' but because I enjoyed dealing with you, that tendency to promote you fades with every childish bagging of competitor products, and I think you fail to recognize the impact of such an attitude on your own sales.

To be fair, sliders probably have a single stitch its only a piece of fabric and those pants are worn daily for every occasion you said yourself earlier they are not made for that, for them to stay there for a year with that kind use is pretty good IMO, as for the velcro part on your jacket, Its kinda random, Iv used my jacket for about 130 days over 5 months and it hasvnt even shown any ware, and I abuse my gear,
Also, I can get it fixed for next to nothing for you,

Everything is going to have some kind of flaw or problem, show me one product that is perfect,
I think the OP should have changed the name of the thread to, "Best recommendation for leather gear" probably wouldnt have started the pantey liner tossing competition.

Besides before the Fun shift this shit to PD,
Go to some of the local bike shops and try some gear on first, a bike shop isnt going to sell you shit gear lets be honest, its just a matter of picking the right shop and not listening to the salesmen trying to sell you his wife.

Im not pissing on anyones products actually those facts arent of my creation.

Also I dont make a living of it, I dont even need it, its a hobbie, I work for a corporate.

You need to get a blowjob very quickly I feel as you seem to have some tension build up.

That velcro scenario seems odd, if you never used the velcro for the knee sliders what force is being applied to enable the velcro to pull away one wonders ?

If you want me to fix that velcro no problems whip em back and I will have them back in a flash.

Meantime try and get a blowy before you go to bed
Ive run out of fucks to give

this in essence is the point i was trying to make in my typical over the top ranting raging way, - no product is perfect, 1 tonne willhave faults, qausi gear has faults, and so too do alpinestar and berik. its a fact of life, you make a choice based on need and budget, and accept that sacrifices will be a fact of life.

anyway, I have strayed off topic, OP wanted opinions, and i gave mine

Now, hayd3n, tell me more about these cookies?
