JMemonic: My Quasi gear is good in all weathers and very comfy, it's great in the wind and rain too. I haven't been wet or cold in it.
Comparing it to the 1tonne pants I had, I think the Quasi gear is of higher quality. The 1tonne stitching wasn't very good, not straight and no triple stitching. Some of the stitching looked like it would pull apart in a crash.
The 1tonne pants were extremely warm also, about the same as the Quasi pants.
The Quasi pants are (for me) more comfortable in any situation. Look better too.

So there we go, I have had both and I favour the Quasi gear. Mine is "only" a black rock two piece suit, but, I love it.

I want gear for touring and everyday use, I ride the bike in all sorts of conditions, even occasionally snow, (bastard stuff), I want gear that is vented for summer and warm in winter, that has some degree of waterproof ability as you never know when you might get caught out in bad conditions, preferably repairable should the worst happen, and will last. What have you got?

For wet weather we dont have an offer, and youre right we focus on the sports bike and race end of the market, at this point.
When this dreaded recession is over if ever I will push some buttons on some work I have already done to satisfy the tourer.

I ride daily as its my only form of transport and on Sunday I was lucky enough to ride during a minor snow blizzard, I have a QRace Edge, I dont wear the thermal liner, and I have yet to get wet under it, I got a tad damn where the stretch panels are but I think this is to be expected from any supplier as its just the way things are, but I would tick off water proof, tick off warm, tick off comfort, Im yet to ride with it in Summer, so I cant comment on that side of things.

Ah DM you missed a point, I have seen you, you would fit Quasi's gear ok, I am more umm Cookie's shape. Plus Quasi's gear is more race orientated than I really want it to be, I require touring gear, ideally I would like the Teknic freeway, in leather more than what Quasi has on the available. I know that jacket suits me, I have worn one for a few years but they dont have the longevity I am after, (in other words mine is stuffed).
