    Today's temps (15 August)

    How cold has it got in your area today..?
    Started out at 5 degs here, got to 7 degs, damn its cold...

    EDIT: In 30 mins it has dropped back down to 4degs.

    1.4 deg in Welly, with wind chill giving a "feels like" temp of -5.

    Coldest cunting day I've ever heard of here. Great weather for selling bikes.........

    We had a snail storm about 1:53pm here at the Hospital - Central TGA.

    Global Warming = Earths Climatic Cycle..

    I remember it snowning in Ashhurst in 1973-4?...in the village, not just on the surrounding hills. Buses took us kids out there from Palmy...day off school...

    I see it has also snowed in Rotorua today...it last did that in the early 90's?
    Whatever happens today or in the future weather wise has, happened before.
    Its even snowed in Auckland in the 1930's.
    And it will snow there again.

    Well it snowed in New Plymouth for the first time in ages. Can't remember how long.

    But the temp was 2 degrees in the morning and gradually got warmer as the day prgressed. Is something like 8 now.
