Some might say that any improvement in road safety have occurred in spite of, not because of the current thrust of road safety campaigning and policy.

the po po are the last bastion of the old school public service. Plus they have the best trade union in the business. What other union official gets such positive traction, and get approached for comment as Greg OConnor does? Its hilarious.

Not that I would want their job for quids.

The chances of the car/vehicle driver getting a fair and unbiased investigation into the incident...
Seriously, the cars behind about had a panic stop on their hands, the "naughty car" slammed on brakes and swerved, creating a bit of a knee jerk response. The more I think about it, the more I think this one incident requires a call to the COPS boss.

Interesting though, not one KB Plod has responded to this thread, must be too busy with the weather or something food related

I counted today coming home, as you do. I missed the unmarked car, he must have still been having coffee at Dairy Flat One was heading south, chur, one was busy on the on ramp at Dairy Flat, chur, and the other marked car was back at the toll cameras southbound, not hidden as much, double chur.

Nor me,had the misfortune to be bored the other night and sat through 30 minutes of "motorway cops" or similar title.mostly filmed in or around Auckland, surely its another world up therehow the fuck the cops dont A die of laughter at some of the retards they have to deal with or B beat the shit out of once again some of the retards they have to deal with is beyond me.Used to wonder why some of them have an attitude, after watching that shit i fully understand.

That happened over here last year - mr (young) plod jumped in front of a speeding (hooning - they are always hoons and hooning over here) car in a suburban street giving the driver no where to go, fuck all time to react and, not surprisingly got himself cleaned up - or severely messed up fatally, in this case!
Apart from WAPOL and the papers screaming on about "martyr, hero, sacrifice in the line of duty, etc etc", most people thought he was a complete twat! The driver ...........got rather shafted, as expected, but it could have been worse for him.......

90kg of flesh and blood will lose out to 1500kg of moving steel, every time!

    OK i will bite.
The fucktard hoon was running from the police, the cop was laying spikes and the fuckarse driver swerved to hit him.

That's why cops should be armed, shoot little fucks like that, 90kg of fuckhead will always loose to 120gr of 9mm.

P.S only dickheads like you thought he was a twat.
