    Actually it's not. Basic Handling Skills is mandatory to obtain your learner's licence. The confidence course is optional, provided by some providers to assist you in improving your control of your bike.

    I would not recommend Passrite for riding training, and would recommend some of the more motorcycle specific people, with more experience, such as Rider Training, Riderskills or the like.

    I went to Passrite in Hamilton and must of done both on the same day then. The instructor was very helpful and said he teaches stunt riding aswell so my guess is he was very motorbike specific. Guessing Auckland Passrite has room for improvement?
