you realise the 21 had an 18" rear so you're better off finding some other wheels 17's with 2.15 or ideally 2.5 front so you can run 90 slick on the front & a 3 or ideally 3.5" rear rim so you can run a 115 or 120 slick. Std the front is too wide for a 90 & too narrow for a 120

    Some model FZR250s have 2.5 & 3.5" but older models don't.

I have made a start but not finished F4 bike with a front wheel from a cbr250r in 2.5x17 (mc19) which fits a the good honda 300mm disks used on so many honda models inc rs125's and 250's the disk from a rgv/gsxr can be modifed to suit see husaberg supermodel conversion here

For the rear wheel I used a front wheel from a cbr400r (nc23 I think will check)they match the front and real racers don't need cush drive (well not buckets). The rear disk and sprokets will need adaptors to fit the mountain bike or pitbike disk and the rear sprockets But thats no trouble. From picking the wheels up the 3.5 wheel seems lighter than the front.

I hear of people doing similar with tzr250 and Fzr wheels and the dt175 sprocket is supposed to bolt onto the front (now rear) wheel

Cheers for the the info...managed to pick up a set of 250 Bandit wheels, disc's and calipers...should be a fairly straight forward fit I'm guessing....
