Bike for touring - anything considered - leads appreciated

I'm flying into Auckland around the 3rd of October and need to find a bike sharpish so I can see some of NZ. I can't used trademe because < they're jerks > security prevents people from outside NZ/ Aus from registering on the site.

I would appreciate any kind of lead for any kind of bike for reasonable money that could be used by a big dude for the purpose of touring, followed by daily transport.

I'd suggest an RF900, there's a fair few around for bugger all.

Sort of trying to sell my Transalp - 2006, 49000km. I'm the second owner. I'm wanting $6500. Great NZ adventure touring bike. Been very well maintained but has a few scratches as it's been enjoyed! Has rack, heated grips, scott oiler, new rear tyre, fresh WOF and six months rego and I could throw in an old tankbag, soft panniers and rack bag that would get you started. It's listed here.
