New member with no licence (DFV)

I'm new to motorcycles and to this site. Used to drive single seater racing cars and decided to ride a bike as a similar but cheaper thrill, so bought my first bike this year being a Factory Aprilia.
Got caught at a little under 200 so they took my car licence off me (didn't have a bike one). That was a short lived thrill, however thinking about selling the Aprilia and buying a track bike.
Anyway, hope I'm still welcome to your forum.

How much $$$'s did that cost you (for doing near 200)? And how long did you lose your car license for ?

    200 isnt much,

There is a Kwak ninja 250R for sale here that has a red power band and can probably outdo that 200 mark..

I said that I was caught at a little under 200. I was wound out in 4th. Initially cop tried to arrest me for doing a runner, so had to explain to him how his Holden would not be in site if I did a runner.
Oh by the way, I have dropped the Aprilia twice. Considering its only 6 months old, its looking pretty second hand and has 8000Ks on the clock.
You can acuse me of lacking skills but not balls. (some say that means stupid), however, I'm having fun.

    Triumph

Yeah, thought it was the bikes fault. What are you guys riding? The new Triumph 675R sounds like it is an awsome bike.

I would've thought wound out in 4th would've been well over 200. The gixxer 6 hits about 230 in 4th. (DAMHIK - and anyway it was on a closed private road )

    Race on

Trouble is, if your bike is geared really high, you have no low speed acceleration.
I was clocked at 193Kph and when I noticed flashing lights in the background, I was taped in 4th gear. Don't know when he took that reading. I was riding a 2011 Aprilia RSV4 Factory. It is show room standard so you can look up and see what it is capable of.
Anyway, I can't afford to do that on the road any more, but if you want to have a go at a track day, no problem. Oh and I'm a beginner rider so I'll try not to enbarrass you too much.
