No, there's a cosmetics sub forum already (bodywork and related?).

Definitely. Some from the adjustable PV curve, and some from the ignition. Bore/stroke/rod length are all different so it's more of a need than a want.

I was just talking about a bike that can be remotely disabled while being ridden haha.

    Wasn't a serious thought.

Well, on the subject of serious thoughts... things like Snitch are bloody expensive (not to mention a stupid website)... the hardware is very cheap though, and we know enough switched on people that could translate the data into a google maps reference on a web page.... but that would definitely require a sub forum

GPS Snitch? Yeah, too bad if there is no cell reception though :P Turn on an old school emergency beacon instead. And let the search and nice rescue people find my bike

Also needs to be hidden VERY well. Not accessible to snips etc. Not obvious that it is there or tracking. And let out a literially deafening roar if its either tampered with. Flashbomb anyone?

The 300$ extra you pay is to cover Vodafone's data rates.

I worked it out. Data is still cheaper than paying $53568 a month for 2678400 txts to cover 31 days a month and a txt a second. Haha.

    *shopping list snipped*
Maybe this should be a thread for people who actually modify their bikes rather than shopping on eBay?

Did I go wrong with my math ?

Ah no I didn't, just with my wording. I meant to say every second. Not every minute...

some of us are clueless muppets when it comes to doing stuff, but are absolute ninjas when it comes to using a credit card.

end result is a bike that is different from stock, aka "modified", yes?

I was thinking more of the logic behind constantly sending updates in a constant stream when it really only needs a heart beat and an activity sensor, if ya dig?

Indeed, I just don't see any value in reading about what anybody with a credit card could have done. That's not modifying, that's bolting shite on. Now if you had to take to it with a file because it doesn't fit correctly straight out of the box, teaching us about that, that's value added.
