In which case I have had a set on my 250 and I have had a brake lever on my 400.
I read the $25 ones fall apart pretty quickly. These are genuine TITAX, normally $220-$270 per set depending on finish. Mine ones were left over stock hence cheaper price tag

I had my 250 ones for a year (thats how long I had the 250) and never had a problem with them.
Like wise with the ones on my 400

    Thumbs up Gear shift indicator

I installed a gear shift indicator today, took a bit of time,
Photos are of part way through installing it, I am now at the stage of just tiding up the wiring,
I havnt bothered with the Neutral indicator I will worry about that another time, I still have the standard green light indicator so it will be sweet, setting the sensors up was real prick with that linkage rod in the way, tried turning it upside down so it sat lower but it just made it worse. I also added a toggle switch under the seat, Was going to wire it into the headlight loom, but decided to have it on its own,
There is a small magnet on the gear shift lever that runs past the sensor changing it up or down on the indicator, at the moment everything is araldited in place haha I have sellotape holding it in place while it dries

Before someone asks, NO I can not keep track of what gear I am in.. haha

Whats with all the fucking sellotape DM? Not really future proofing, at least go with insulation tape!

    Here's my effort from today...

    Out with the old

    and in with the new

Would have saved a few more grams if I could find some M10x1.25 button heads too! Big thumbs up to http://www.bearingandengineering.co.nz/ for their online fastener supply though.

Ah, The tape was to hold it there while it dried, im anal about untidy and visible,

    Doesnt matter,
Woke up this morning and went to check it out, the sensors had dried in place but the magnet had some how snapped in two and was a complete hassle,
SO I spent most of my time today fabricating some mounts out of sheet metal Ill take some photos later and upload them, its a bit messy at the moment, I need to take it all off and trim it down and ill put some paint on them

This is what it looks like under the pillion seatm at the top of the pic in the white rag is the air horn compressor, wrapped up so it doesnt rattle too much, the red switch on the left is for the indicator I have just installed, may redo it off the headlights, would make more sense I guess haha

And this is the other angle the thing on the right (the silver part) is the remote control pick up for my LED accent lights, I have a remote on my keys with a bunch of settings, from 3 depths of solid light, strobe lights (2 different speeds) and pulse mode where it looks like its breathing, and an off button, the button switch to the left of it is the manual switch for them, so they arnt on 24/4.

And finally, when I went to go take photos, I managed to snap the key in the pillion lock, been having issue for a while with it, the little latch slips over the arm that pulls the cable to open it, so I have whipped it all out and drenched it in CRC, seems to have worked haha.

That taken with a phone camera?

Don't suppose there is enough space behind the sprocket cover to put the sensor there? Be a lot tidier.

Spent an hour or so TRYING to fit the pack-rack mounting brackets to the XN85 - said brackets are NOT co-operating, they're fighting for space with the indemecator brackets, bastards.

    Plan 'B' mehtinks.
