    Stoner talks frames

His thoughts on the Ducati frames http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2011/Aug/110830cs27.htm
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

I just read that myself, and it all makes perfect sense to me. Esp what he said about steel "snapping" back into place. After reading this, it makes me realize that a alloy frame is unlikely to be a magic bullet for the duck, as they have ALWAYS been finicky on set up and it could be the engine architecture and style as much as anything. Rossi and Burgess were very derogatory towards Stoner's setup ability BEFORE they got their hands on the Ducati. Something tells me that, had Stoner stayed at Ducati, he probably would of still won a race or two this year. Credit where credits due and all that.
