There are only a few left, and there is always a last minute rush with some disappointed people that miss out.

Well it was persistent precipitation on Sunday morning so I gave coming to watch at the track a miss as I had a meeting in Wanganui at lunch time.

I did persuade my work colleague to attend the course, and he was really amped and pleased he did the course. He got loads out of it. Lets hope he practices and absorbs the lessons. He had nothing but praise for the instructors.

The pictures of all the bikes outside Icons Sports bar showed the range of different bikes that had brought their riders along to the course.

We were on the brink of calling the day off as the weather was that bad but we said 'No Cancellations' and I'm glad we persisted, turned out to be a great day!

Yes, Icons put on a great feed for us as by that stage everyone was well used. This is a perfect location for us to end the day as it is right at the end of the road ride. Amazing hospitality, the fire was going, and the rugby was on the big screen. Best of all, everyone got to share their experiences from the day.

The next one is on Sunday 20 November, and we will be having two groups: one for women and one for men - look out for the new thread here soon!
