    See rep on other's posts?

Can we see who has repd somebody elses post? And the comments?

Also, is there any indication in threads that a post has been reped?

You CAN go to a members profile page and see their last 30 reps ...

Thanks Trev. Nevertheless a member has contacted me because of a bling I gave to another member's post. So that person did know who - me. How? Its not a problem but I cannot figure out how to do the same.

And I cannot see how you'd ever know bling had been awarded to a post when browsing a thread.

The only people who can see rep given, other than the recipient is senior mod's and admins. No one else can see comments left. So if someone contacted you about rep left it's because someone talked...

Winston001 ...Speak (contact) a mod ... unless you left a not nice comment on a red/green rep ... it (any comment) SHOULD remain between YOU and the Recipient ... site rules ... (as I understand)

Ditto. I also wondered how the certain somebody knew it was me. No bother though, the PM was so rude and degrading about the original poster it just furthered the original posters cause

something stinks here. I would like a moderator to state what happened, who supplied bling details and what the purpose was behind doing so.

    • Are Blings confidential or not ?
    • Who supplied bling details to a commercial user or does he have those rights ?
    • Is it right that a member who uses these pages for commercial gain (and for all I know pays KB for the privilege) should be able to gain access to confidential information sent by members in confidence and to use that information to peddle his goods and defamatory lies about another member using KB private messages.
    • What other access is he "allowed" on this site ?

Basically WTF is going on here ? I know discussions have been had between moderators - what was the outcome ?

    No. That is all.
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem

what's that supposed to mean ...?

I think members have the right to know what is confidential and what isnt.
