    Space junk at dangerous 'tipping point': study

    this one kinda tickled me a tad........ oh noes, we're running out of space, or space isn't as big as we've been told...

    time to build a space station for catching and dismantling/rebuilding satellites without having to launch them into space from the Earths surface...

    Reduce Reuse Recycle people...

    Ok .... so Sky-lab came down over Aussie ... (mostly unpopulated bits of Aus ) but Quantas seem to have more of a problem with "bits" prematurely arriving on the earths surface ... so they are used to stuff falling out of the sky ...

    From space .... at least most big bits burn up into little bits ...

    Seems obvious to me.

    Build a really big magnet in a shithole (say Africa), all the pieces come down and the various countries can come collect their rubbish.
