When I lived in Bremen (Germany) many years ago which is a lot like Holland as in being dead flat, the best place to Toboggan when it snowed was the Rubbish tip 'cause it was a 100 metre high hill![]()
The Heart is the drum keeping time for everyone....
If any bright spark here wants to build a mountain like that, I know where there is a molehill they might be able to get cheap!![]()
They could give the cash to Portugal or Greece and do some good with it instead.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Response from a Dutch Cousin....
I just heard about it a few days ago. I think it’s brilliant. It’s a nice project that costs a lot of money, but creates a lot of work. Mountains is something Holland lacks. A lot of people are travelling abroad for mountain sports. It would be very nice if there would be more possibilities for that in Holland. They could even use a lot of unemployed workers, who could repay some dept to society. A lot of organisations could profit of it. The comment that it would cost Europe a lot of money is nonsense, Holland is one of the biggest contributors to Europes/Brussels income. We can hold up our trousers ourselves. We work very hard for it, so we are allowed to have some more fun J
I hope the mountain will be created.
And…. when the sea level is rising, we will still have a few spots in our country where we can keep our feet dry.
