Never broken mine but I'd imagine a simple break could be reasonably painless.

Significant soft tissue damage in areas where there's little room for swelling fucking hurts big time.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

You've really started a major upheaval.

Now ACC will get a report going on the prevention of walking and pothole injuries.

They will start an investigation on how they can tax walking because it's obviously dangerous.

And to top it off all potholes will be required to have self illumination during the hours of darkness if not lit by street lights!!

He is being wonderful! I am not good at being dependant, but as I have no choice a the moment, I have decided to accept my lot gracefully and ask for all the help I need. I am blessed with wonderful friends who have offered to drive me where I need to be, my youngest daughter who lives in town will go fetch for me during the day if she is not at work. I can see myself getting very spoilled.

Well, I can attest to the pain, when I did it I knew immediately I had done damage, I could not put my foot on the ground and it doubled in size in minutes.

Right now it is sore (I have a couple of Tramadol on board though) but manageable. I am not allowed to weight bare on it, so my arms are sore from using crutches, I am not fit for that you see

I expect things will settle in a few days when the swelling settles. I also munted my left knee/calf which is swollen and has got quite a bit of skin missing which is not helping. Loose chip seal tends to do that with out ATGATT Track pants were no match for it

Funny you should say that, the camp manager said he would have to look at better lighting around the place

Crikey miss! Take it easy on the fun stuff! You always seem to be in the wars. I think you need to permanently ride a motorbike around to avoid this sort of malarkey!
